Postage

Postage

Postage and packing costs can become complex due to the weight of items, packaging requirements, destination, and insurance. The following are taken into consideration when calculating postage:

  • Postage costs also include packaging.

  • For UK customers the default service is second class unless first class is specified on the order form.

  • As a rule of thumb, a high quality 180gm LP in a thick gatefold sleeve will be about 600gm when packed, a similar double LP about 800gm, a CD about 120gm.

  • For orders over £46, items must be sent using a signed for service. For the UK this will be special delivery (£6.35 per package below 500g, £7.55 below 1 kg). For Europe and the rest of the world this will be international signed for (£7.75 per package).

  • Europe means any country identified by the UK post office as a European country. (ROW = Rest Of World).

  • The maximum weight for an international air mail package is 2kg. Orders exceeding this weight will have to be split.

The following rates apply, but for multiple items you will be notified of a customised shipping price. Some items have their individual postage costs shown as part of the listing on the site.
