Calculating the correct postage and packing costs can be quite complex, particularly if you purchase multiple items and live outside the UK (see the Postage button). For this reason, when you add items to the shopping cart no postage and packing charges are shown. This is so that we can offer the best shipping costs according to what you order, its packaging requirements, its size and weight, and the service you require.
Once your order is received, we will send a request for payment showing the total costs including postage and packing. You will then have 5 days to make the payment. If payment is not received within 5 days of the notification, the order will be considered cancelled.
At step 1 of the ordering process you can specify the type of postal service you require. If your order is valued at more than £20 including postage, items will have to be sent using a tracking and/or signed for service if you want them insured for their full price in the event of a claim for compensation (see the Postage button).
The PayPal request for payment will be generated by PayPal, so it is important when completing your email address at step 2 of the ordering process that the email address is the one linked to your PayPal account. Alternatively, if you have chosen to pay by UK cheque or postal order, you will be informed of the amount due and instructions on how to pay.
When paying by PayPal, in order to comply with PayPal policies, the default address for shipping is that advised by PayPal, and NOT the address given on the order. If you want items shipped to an address other than that given by PayPal please advise when ordering by stating your requirements in the Comments or Questions field of the order form. Where shipping costs have been calculated using the order address, and when payment is made the PayPal address is in a different country resulting in increased shipping costs to those paid, an extra payment to cover the difference will be required or the order may be cancelled and the payment refunded.
